60-second PSYCHO
(2004)
Single-channel video projection
DVD PAl 4:3, 1:00 min, stereo
QuickTime Master
The video and audio of the original Hitchcock's Psycho film were digitally sped up and reduced to a mere 60 seconds.
The work plays with ideas of cinematic memories which flashes in front of our eyes, but 60-second PSYCHO can also be seen as a comment on our fast-paced times and the instant consumption of culture and entertainment we are often witnessing today.
